Do I need to inform my Funder?
No, as soon as interest is registered in your contract we will inform your funder, up to that point there is no need to inform them.

How can I be sure my Funder will approve the transfer?
All transfers are written subject to the financial status of the new lessee, obviously this can vary, however, we have yet to experience any challenges in this area.

What condition does the vehicle need to be in before I can transfer it?
The vehicle must meet the normal end of contract criteria. It should be serviced up to date, free from body damage and generally in a condition commensurate with its age and mileage. A copy of the full definition of fair wear and tear as outlined by the BVRLA is available on request. If our representative arrives to collect the vehicle and it does not meet the appropriate standard it will be rejected.

How can I be sure that the vehicle I'm taking over is in good condition?
As discussed above, the vehicle must meet the fair wear and tear standards outlined by the BVRLA. If our representative arrives to collect the vehicle and it does not meet the appropriate standard it will be rejected.

How is the list advertised?
The list is circulated to a database of 1.2 million business users via a combination of fax, email and mail. In addition there is a very active PR campaign designed to raise overall awareness of the facility and the system is publicised via ACFO (the Association of Car Fleet Operators). Also our participating Funders offer the facility on a daily basis to their existing databases.

How often can I use the service?
There is no limit to the amount of times that you may use the service or how many vehicles that you may include in the list at any one time.

Once I put my vehicle(s) up for transfer can I change my mind?
Yes.

Once I've chosen a vehicle from the list can I change the contract parameters e.g. Mileage/Term?
Contract parameters are variable, subject to the approval of the Funder providing the finance.
